Our Mission

Temple Israel welcomes people from diverse backgrounds,  offering a Jewish place to belong.

Affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, our congregation cherishes traditions, but is open to new ideas, programs, and opportunities.  Temple life revolves around our worship services.

We are the only New Hampshire Synagogue offering morning Minyans Monday-Friday at 7:00am.  NOTE services are suspended at this time due to COVID-19.

We hold Shabbat services every Friday night at 6:00pm, and every Saturday morning at 9:30.    NOTE services are suspended at this time due to COVID-19.

We have a simple but lively service of song, prayer, and a brief Dvar Torah. There is always a Kiddush lunch with time to schmooze after Saturday services.

All the holidays in the annual cycle are celebrated  with their distinctive melodies and rituals.
